I served as a commissioned officer in the Royal New Zealand Air Force for 43 years before taking on a civilian role in the Air Force, in which capacity I still serve. I have always enjoyed the ceremonial elements of service life and the various traditions that are reflected in those ceremonies. Over the course of my military career I have had extensive exposure to public speaking, working with people from diverse backgrounds, and managing and compering ceremonial events.

As a wedding and civil union celebrant, I'm looking to fulfil my desire to continue to serve both the military and the wider communities, and to help others on the start of a partnership journey that I have found to be rewarding and satisfying beyond measure.
